Eel-Minnows are very effective for striped bass and large pike.
The hooks used are designed for large fish and to resist salt water(Mustad big game salt water). They have a considerable length, making it easier for fish to catch the hook rather than biting behind it.
After discussion and observation, Eel-Minnows 6.5 (1 oz head included) will henceforth be sold pre-assembled (lure glued to the head).
The reason is simple: they are very durable. They withstand a very large number of striped bass caught; in the vast majority of cases, the line breaks before the soft lure needs to be replaced.
